Why Won't the DVD Work in My Computer - The most likely reason is that you actually have a CD-ROM Drive in your computer and not a DVD-ROM Drive. A DVD-ROM Drive is required for computers to watch the videos and access the files. (see DVD-ROM Content below to download the files)
Where is the Registration Form - The registration form is available for you to print off from the DVD using a computer, or it can be downloaded from the web (see below). Or, save $10 and time by registering online.
I Can't Find the "Extra's" (Printable Files) on the DVD? When you put the Disc into your computer, the computer will want to do one of two things with it. It may always try to open the media content on a media player even if you double click on the disc in an explorer/finder window. Try this: open "My Computer", locate the DVD "IMPACT_2818_2008", "right click" and choose "Explore". This will open up a windown with three folders in it, choose the one called "extra's". There's the content.
How Can I find out More Info About a Particular Camp? - Using the navigation bar above this text box, click on the red box that says, "Summer Camps". Chose the age group you want to learn about. The box directly underneath the Summer Camps box is called Related Links. Use the links in there to navigate to the week of camp you are looking for. top

Design Info
We get a lot of questions about the brochure Here's some of the common answers.
How Did You Draw the Cartoons? - The cartoons were sketched by an artist friend of ours, Victor Jidenowo. He traced actual photographs, then colored and shaded to create what you see. They were created completely digital.
So, yes the kids are real, the settings are real. We just made 'em way cool. If you look, and can remember some of the pictures that were taken of you, you should be able to pick yourslef out without much trouble.
Why does it cost 12¢? - It doesn't cost anything, but comic books cost something don't they? I had looked at a ton of comic books in the months leading up to this project and I came across an incredible hulk that had cost 12¢ and it, I just thought it was a fun throw back.
What Does the 6 on the Cover Mean? - Although this camping ministry has been around for a long time, this is only our sixth brochure as Impact 2818.
What All went into Creating this Project? - The Heroes project was put together through a hodge-podge of programs and people. We couldn't have gotten far without the valliant efforts of Jamison Shaffer on video and Victor Jidenowo on cartoons, I worked a little bit of everything, I'm Ryan Gernand the Visual Communications Specialist at Impact 2818. We used InDesign for Layout, Photoshop for coloring, Illustrator for artwork, Comic Life for spreads, Final Cut Pro for Editing, Motion for video effects DVD Studio Pro for Mastering, and our favorite of all, our Apple Computers. top
