Impact 2818 Scholarships
Philosophy
The goal of Impact 2818 is to serve the local church by providing opportunities for connecting campers to Christ. It is our desire that everyone has the opportunity to attend camp. Unfortunately, finances provide an obstacle for many campers. For this reason, Impact 2818 offers a scholarship program. Any participant can apply for a scholarship to cover part or all of the camp fee.
UMC pastors are an important part of the Impact 2818 Scholarship Program. It is their signature that verifies a camper’s need for financial assistance. Based on the information below we ask them to determine the needs of campers from their church before giving scholarship approval.
Types of Scholarships
Standard
Standard Scholarships are available to campers who need financial assistance, and do not qualify for any other type of scholarship. Recipients are awarded up to 1/3 of the base price. Qualification is based on the following chart.

Family in Need
Campers qualify for a Family in Need Scholarship in accordance with the following chart. Recipients are awarded 100% of base price.

Special Education
Special Education Scholarships are for campers who have developmental disabilities. Recipients are awarded 100% of the base price.
Ethnic Minority
Ethnic Minority Scholarships are available to campers of any ethnic minority. Recipients are awarded up to 2/3 of base price.
Children of Directors
Children of Directors Scholarships are available to children that are attending the same week of camp that their parent is directing. Scholarship is 50% off of the base price for each child. You must fill out an application.
How to Apply
Download the scholarship application, fill it out and send it in. (Scholarship processing begins January 1. Scholarships are distributed on a first come basis.)
