Guest Services

description:

Aid in the expansion of the retreat ministry of Impact 2818. Book groups wanting to utilize Impact 2818 facilities, host weekend groups, gather vital information for new and past group contacts, help set up and maintain a two day a week travel appointment schedule for our retreat specialist, etc.

pre-requisite knowledge:

Good communication skills, works well with public, and good organizational and record keeping skills are essential. Ability to use Microsoft Word & Excel.

Communications & Marketing Internship Opportunities

Communications and Information Services

description:

Monitor, administrate, update and improve Impact 2818’s data management and communication processes and equipment.

pre-requisite knowledge:

Working knowledge of network servers and related software’s, web hosting server management, current equipment trends.  Good organizational and record keeping skills are essential.

Web

description:

Monitor, administrate and update Impact 2818’s web presence.  Coordinate, develop and incorporate new and updated content (blogs, camp data, interviews, etc.), develop and incorporate new features, improve and maintain SEO (Search Engine Optimization) performance.

pre-requisite knowledge:

Working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, or similar programs…follows direction well, can creatively develop an idea from vision to completion.

Motion Graphics

description:

Develop motion based graphics for use in DVD menu’s, lower thirds for videos, DVD Intro’s, web media and graphics and worship presentation (scripture passages, song backgrounds, announcements, thematic logos, etc.)

pre-requisite knowledge:

Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash or similar programs…follows direction well, has good grammatical and copy writing skills, solid ethical compass.

Photography

description:

Photograph campers and summer activities as needed, work with summer staff in developing skills and taking better photos throughout the summer, catalog and archive summer photographs, assist in online retail distribution of photos, post production and marketing prep for best photos.

Working knowledge of digital camera’s, Photoshop, Aperture or similar programs, works well with public, can direct groups.

Print Design

description:

Design, layout and copy writing for print communication pieces. 

pre-requisite knowledge:

Working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop or similar programs…follows direction well, has good grammatical and copy writing skills, detail oriented, can complete a creative workflow from vision to print.

description:

Full production for informational and promotional videos including: shooting, editing, scripting (as needed), DVD mastering, sync license procurement.

pre-requisite knowledge:

Working knowledge of digital video camera’s, Final Cut Studio, lighting skills, story-telling abilities, interviewing experience, works well with public, etc.

Public Relations Administrator

description:

Operate a small administrative office to: generate and coordinate publicity, provide news, articles, content, video, etc. to media outlets, research, mailing distribution and other administrative functions in relation to marketing and communications with Impact 2818.

Project corrdination, leadership and oversight, word processing, spread sheets, budgets, etc.

description:

Operate a small administrative office including registration of campers, retail operations and general office duties; available at each of Impact 2818's four camp sites: Pine Creek Camp, Camp Lakewood, Camp Adventure, and Epworth Forest Conference Center.
